At Focus Eye Care LLC, we believe great vision care is an ongoing relationship built on trust, time, and genuine attention to your health. As an independently owned optometry practice in Overland Park, Kansas, we’re free to put your needs first, every single time.
Meet Dr. Dan Changsoo Lee, OD
Dr. Lee is a Philadelphia native who earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, one of the most respected optometry programs in the country. After graduation, he spent more than two decades building his expertise in New England before relocating to the Kansas City area to put down roots.
He brings over 25 years of clinical experience to every patient encounter, with deep expertise in the treatment and management of ocular diseases — including IPL dry eye treatment, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy — as well as specialized contact lens fittings for patients with challenging prescriptions, including myopia control lenses. He is known for the personalized approach he brings to each patient, taking care to understand your lifestyle and vision goals before recommending any course of action.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lee and his wife Annie enjoy spending time outdoors with their children and exploring everything the Kansas City area has to offer.

Dr. Lee’s practice also welcomes Korean-speaking patients who prefer to discuss their care in their first language — a reflection of our commitment to inclusive, accessible eye health for everyone in our community.
We see patients from Overland Park, Lenexa, Olathe, Leawood, and the surrounding area. New patients are always welcome, and Saturday appointments are available by request.
